System architecture and portfolio systematic trading

I am happy to share that I have successfully completed the Quant Research and Portfolio Management Foundations certification from QuantYog.

The course significantly expanded my understanding of systematic trading, particularly in the areas of strategy ideation, portfolio construction, diversification, and robust backtesting. One of the most valuable lessons was learning how seemingly simple concepts, when applied with discipline and statistical rigor, can lead to more resilient trading strategies across varying market conditions.

Foundations builds upon the Essentials program with advanced quantitative techniques, deeper strategy development frameworks, and practical insights into portfolio-level thinking. It also provided a useful perspective on evaluating new strategies not in isolation, but in the context of their impact on an existing portfolio.

A special thanks to Ish Singh, Sam and the QuantYog team for creating a structured and practical learning experience. Their ability to break down complex quantitative concepts into actionable frameworks makes the material accessible while maintaining the depth needed for serious practitioners.
